Santa Maria, Calif. (August 19, 2024) — The Land Trust is excited to partner with SEEAG as a sponsor of Santa Barbara County Farm Day! On Saturday, August 24th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, join your local Northern Santa Barbara County farms, ranches, and agricultural organizations for a series of free agricultural activities and tours. With almost 20 participating locations, there’s no shortage of opportunities to meet the hands that feed you. “Our local food systems are essential to our quality of life and local economy. We are so pleased to help showcase the incredible farms and ranches in our County,” said Meredith Hendricks, Executive Director of the Land Trust.

Now in its 6th year, Farm Day offers several activities from behind-the-scenes tours, tractor rides, produce tastings and giveaways, plenty of family-friendly exhibits, and more. Pick which farms you’d like to visit and drive around at your own pace. Visit the 2024 trail map for the full list of Farm Day experiences and locations.

The Land Trust will be joining our friends at Las Cumbres Ranch, a pillar in the sustainable ranching community, with interactive displays about agriculture and conservation. Make sure to include this location on your Farm Day itinerary for the following experience and see
