The Arroyo Hondo Preserve is open to the public on the first and third full weekends of each month, advanced reservations required.
Following the Alisal Fire and January storms, Arroyo Hondo is flourishing with native plants and animals—this spring is going to be amazing for wildflowers and more! Explore the trails and enjoy the sun-drenched vistas or stay cool along the shady creek at this historic nature preserve. Add to your experience by using our family-friendly trail resources.
All open dates are subject to change in accordance with government public health and safety orders as well as weather advisories.
SPRING HOURS:
- First and third full weekends of the month, 10 a.m.—3 p.m.
- Free docent-led hikes at 10 a.m. on open Saturdays, select when registering.
VISITING THE PRESERVE RESPONSIBLY:
- No swimming in the creek.
- No pets.
